About

VTG came about quite a while back when Scream Tracker and hardware sequencing was the norm. Tama Tekstar octagon ana-lectro drum kits and Kurzweil K2000’s reigned supreme. About the music? I think contrast, in all art, is key. Music is no exception, I hope you’ll find tension and release here, I know we do.

You’ll also find that VTG embraces a circular rotating live line-up. So don’t be surpised to see us share the stage with some fantastic musicians on a regular basis. And now for the introductions…

Lawrence Stone | VTGVTG’s founding member and frontman, Stone has been producing, DJ’ing, performing and grinding the mic since 2004’s debut album, “So Beautiful People Look Away.” A Boston native, Stone released VTG’s first album as a solo endeavor and later transformed the act into a full band after meeting Brian Ostreicher in San Francisco, CA. Stone is owner and founder of electro, breakbeat and rock record label, 3am Devices.

Brian OstreicherHard-hitting drum phenom and human metronome, Brian “Badass” Ostreicher hails from Detroit, Michigan and brings with him years of touring and drumming experience. “Badass” brings an undoubtably raw sound to the VTG line-up and we love him for it. Ostreicher is currently endorsed by custom drum manufacturers C & C Drum Company and Truline Drum Sticks.

A proliferate composer and an avid audio nerd, Nick has been involved with a variety of projects touching on everything from scoring films to plug-in design. With a guitar always in hand and fueled by the tones of ROCK, Nick takes stage right in VTG.
